Trisect for iPhone · Version 1.0
Email hello@trisect.app and you will get a reply from a person. There is no ticket system and no account to log into.
It helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what the app said — a screenshot of the leg that went wrong is usually enough.
This is the most common one, and it is Strava's behaviour rather than a fault in the upload. Strava will not create an activity that overlaps one you already have. Your swim leg starts at the same moment as the whole race, so if the full multisport workout has already reached Strava — synced from Apple Health, or uploaded before — the swim collides with it every time. The bike and run start later, so they go through.
Trisect tells you when this happens, and offers two ways out on the leg itself:
Trisect only ever reads swim-bike-run multisport workouts. Every other workout type is invisible to it by design, so a plain ride or run will never show up. Check the Health app under Browse → Activity → Workouts and confirm the workout is listed as Multisport.
If it is there but not in Trisect, the workout may not have finished syncing from the Watch. Open the Health app first, then pull to refresh in Trisect.
Pool swims are not GPS-tracked, so there is no route to lose — distance, pace and heart rate still upload, and you get a distance card instead of a map. Open-water fixes can also fail outright, which looks the same from the app's side.
If a leg you recorded outdoors reports no GPS, that is worth an email. Tap the leg first: the detail screen shows the exact GPS point count, which tells us whether the route reached the phone at all.
Open the race and use Upload again on that leg. Anything still on Strava comes back as a duplicate and is left alone, so re-uploading cannot create a second copy.
No. Health access is read-only. Trisect cannot write to Health, edit a workout, or delete one, and it never asks for permission to.
Nothing while we are in beta. Every leg of every race uploads free, there is no subscription and no in-app purchase. If Trisect ever charges for the swim and bike legs, everyone who installed during the beta keeps them free.
There is a Disconnect Strava link at the bottom of the race list. It removes the stored authorisation from your iPhone. You can also revoke Trisect's access from your Strava account settings at any time.
Trisect has no accounts, no analytics and no database. Your workout data goes from your iPhone straight to Strava under your own authorisation, and is never stored on our servers. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
